All to Kagohl 2 except G.398/16 (to Halbgeschwader 1 as a trainer) and G.392/16 (to Daimler for test work).

Gotha Go. G. IIIs were retired from frontline service August and September 1917.

Hptm. Brandenburg of Kagohl 3 was said to have used a red tailed Go.G.III 396/16 - ?398/16
